Vextar, Inc. ("Vextar", "we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use our Service at vextar.org. By using Vextar, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

• Account information: Your name, email address, and authentication data provided during registration via Clerk.
• Conversation data: The prompts and messages you send to Vextar, along with the AI-generated responses. These are stored securely in our database (Supabase) to provide conversation history.
• Payment information: Billing and payment data is collected and processed exclusively by Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record. Vextar does not store your credit card or banking details.
• Usage data: Technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, and pages visited, collected automatically when you use the Service.

3. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use your information exclusively to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Vextar Service
• Store and display your conversation history
• Process payments and manage your subscription
• Send transactional emails (account confirmation, billing receipts)
• Detect and prevent abuse, fraud, or violations of our Terms
• Respond to your support requests

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.

4. AI PROCESSING & YOUR CONVERSATIONS

Vextar uses DeepSeek, an AI model developed by DeepSeek AI, to process your coding requests. When you send a message, your prompt is transmitted to DeepSeek's API to generate a response. Your conversation history is stored in our secure database (Supabase) and is accessible only to you through your account. We do not use your conversations to train AI models.

5. DATA STORAGE & SECURITY

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, which employs industry-standard encryption at rest and in transit (TLS/SSL). Access to your data is restricted to authenticated sessions only. We implement technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

Despite our efforts, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

8. DATA RETENTION

We retain your account data and conversation history for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data and conversation history within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention.

9. YOUR RIGHTS

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
